Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin's debut album Broom received unbelievable blog support, which helped the group land on the prestigious Leafblower Top Bands of America list and led Spin to proclaim that the Missouri band "could succeed The Shins as the band that will change your life."

Because Broom was considered a re-issue (the band originally self-released the album in 2005), these songs represent SSLYBY's first new material in two years.

Since Broom's release, SSLYBY has played shows with Tapes ‘N Tapes, Aloha, and of Montreal, as well as toured with Catfish Haven and Birdmonster -- all the while developing a fanbase from coast to coast.

My boys are back, and if 'Half-Awake (Deb)' is any indication of the direction they are taking for their debut album for Polyvinyl, these kids will be the next Shins.

Like SSLYBY's debut album Broom, this one is a nice little number with those catchy hooks that keep you wanting more. Since then, they've probably been labeled one of the most blogged about bands, but that doesn't stop me spreading some love for this world wide web discovered treasure.
